Chevignon was founded in Paris, France back in 1979. The founder, Guy Azoulay conceived the idea of recreating the bomber jackets which the U.S. Air Force wore during the 50’s. The name Chevignon was taken after Charles Chevignon a pilot of a four-motored plane.
The kidswear range was firstly launched in 1984 whereas the Chevignon organization has been acquired by Groupe Naf Naf in 1995.
The essence of the Chevignon brand name is the translation of the “American Dream”, the legend of America back in the 50’s. The idea behind the designers is to build an original world based on historical footnotes but at the same time a range which is constantly renewed.
The Chevignon brand is dedicated to male babies (0M-2Y), male kids (3Y-7Y) and male juniors (8Y-14Y). The range is consisted by clothing items, swimwear, clothing accessories and infant shoes.
