Diesel was founded by its current owner Renzo Rosso and his ex-boss Adriano Goldschmied back in 1978.
From the very beginning, Diesel’s design team turned their backs on the style-dictators and consumer forecasters of the fashion establishment and let their own tastes lead them. It is for this reason Diesel immediately became a leader in developing styles, fabrics, manufacturing methods and quality control, guaranteeing an outstanding quality product. It is best known for clothing aimed at the young adult market, particularly jeans. Production of denim jeans is based mainly in Italy.
The kidswear range is one of the successful lines and is generally known as Diesel Kid.
Diesel has an innovative approach to marketing as it is probably the first clothing company to market their clothing in video games. In December 2008, Diesel announced a marketing partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe to sell their designs in Sony’s virtual world, Playstation Home.
The Diesel brand is dedicated to boys and girls; babies (0M-2Y), male kids (3Y-7Y) and male juniors (8Y-14Y).
The range includes clothing items, swimwear, shoes and accessories.
Kidsklozet is one of the appointed partners of Diesel in Cyprus. |
